Gann HiLo ActivatorThe HiLo Activator study is a trend-following indicator introduced as part of the Gann Swing trading strategy. In addition to indicating the current trend direction, this can be used as both entry signal and trailing stop.
There are many scripts already published for this indicator, but I've found they didn't match the original one.
So here it is the Gann HiLo Activator as originally developed by Robert Krausz, in a 1998 article in the Stocks & Commodities magazine.
I've also added the option to select the type of Moving Average you would like to use.
Hope you enjoy!

Cristina - Trading Sessions and Moving AveragesCombination of Trading Sessions and Moving Averages. You can easily edit the time frame background to give you a visual presentation of your most active trading hours or customize it to represent the different forex trading session inline with your local time.
The default moving average here is the 20, 50, 100, 200 and 250 MA. The use of moving averages could be in a (1) form of cross over to find out the dominant trend, (2) use it to find value zone or (3) use it to find dynamic support levels. It greatly depends on your trading system.
With the combination of the trading sessions and the moving averages, you could isolate the trades you will be taking inline with your active hours. Thus this is a great tool to add in terms of day trading or swing trading with the lower time frames.
VPF ScreenerThis script is inspired by @midtownsk8rguy and created at my request with the pine mastery of @DonovanWall. All the credits go to them.
Basically, this script will screen for the long-only condition of the Voss Predictive Filter in maximum 40 securities at your choice.
I personally find the signals quite reliable for scalping indices and swing trading momentum stocks.
Hope you guys find it useful
Moving Average BandsUse this script to find buy and sell zones for BTC based on momentum of the move relative to the average asset price over a given period. The script plots a series of offset bands above and below the Simple Moving Average. When price crosses another band further from the SMA, the background is rendered brighter. The brighter the background, the stronger the buy and sell signal is, as the expectation is that price wants to return to the SMA. Settings are adjustable to fine tune to various time frames and assets. Good settings for BTC Daily are length 30, layers at 10, 20, 30, and 40.
On 1H BTC/USD I use length 200, layers at 5, 10, 15, 20 to find decent swing trading opportunities.
On BTC/USD 1D chart, combine with Bitcoin Logarithmic Growth Curve from @mabonyi (original by @quantadelic )for confluence of very reliable signals.

HOLP/LOHPThe HOLP strategy was developed by trader-author John F. Carter in his book 'Mastering the trade: proven techniques for profiting from intraday and swing trading set ups' (ISBN 0-07-145958-8). The strategy, which gives buy signals, is a reversal strategy. Reversal strategies try to determine the point in time when a trend reverses direction. In his book John F. Carter is actually skeptical of taking a position against the trend, quoting classics like "never catch a falling knife" (buy a steep sell off) and "never step in front of a train" (short sell a strong market). Given his skepticism he decides to base his strategy on the one single factor which he deems relevant: the market price.
SMA + Trend Strength + Trailing Stop LossThe 'SMA + Trend Strength + Trailing Stop Loss' indicator was designed for swing trading long positions over the course of days/weeks. The benefit of the indicator is to identify areas where the market of a given asset is showing signs of a strong uptrend, divergences, and fear. A 13-bar simple moving average is color coded to four colors based on 5 given conditions at a time, which are represented as a trend meter on the bottom right of the screen. A trailing stop loss indicator is included to secure your profits or limit your loss in case the market reverses on you unexpected. Please use this indicator responsibly with proper risk management, and never rely on the indicator by itself for buy and sell signals.
When the simple moving average color is green, it means that at least 4 of 5 conditions are confirming a move upwards, this is when you can take an entry into a trade based on your entry strategy. As the trend continues, the color will eventually change to yellow signaling a divergence. This is when you can use your exit strategy to find a good point to sell. It is wise not to take new positions when the color is trending yellow.
If the color changes from yellow to orange, that is a warning sign that the trend is about to change or has begun to change. Prices may have already fallen. However, sometimes the color will change from yellow back to green signaling a continuation of the trend. You can either keep holding or take a new position in this instance.
When the color is red, this signals fear in the market, you should stay out of the market at first. However, as the market consolidates and the color starts changing back to orange, this is an opportunity to take a long position at a reasonably low price.
Simple Moving Average (13-Bar) Color Explanation:
The colors change based on 5 market conditions represented in the trend meter.
Green: Strong Uptrend
Yellow: Divergence Present
Orange: Warning
Red: Fear
Trend Meter Explanation:
The trend meter draws 5 arrows indicating bullish or bearish presence.
LL = Lower Lows - Detects when the market is trending with lower lows.
HH = Higher Highs - Detects when the market is trending with higher highs.
MA = SMA Direction - A formula is used to determine the direction of the SMA.
DI = Directional Index - Identifies when upwards momentum is trending.
RSI = Relative Strength Index - Identifies when the RSI is in an uptrend state.
Note: For advanced users, this indicator has a hidden DMI(4, 4, 4) and RSI(14) indicator used to determine the last two conditions. The Directional Index is based on a DI Plus momentum moving average to determine a momentum trend and the RSI trending over 50 will constitute an uptrend signal as below 50 it will point down.
Trailing stop loss:
The trailing stop loss is determined based on the lowest price of the last 8 bars.
A gray step-line is drawn at the suggested stop activation price.
A red step-line is drawn at the suggested stop limit price.
When the price breaches the trailing stop, a red X will appear below the bar.
You can turn each of these features on or off based on your preference. Happy trading!
Multi RSI based on Timeframe
This code has been inherited from " 3 RSI Multi Timeframe Inception" by pranjalchaubey and enhanced/modified to include 2 more RSI indicators. The RSIs considered are 15 minutes, 1 Hour, Daily, Weekly and Monthly displayed based on chart time frame.
The number of RSI indicators displayed is context dependant or time frame based, as below,
15min, hourly and daily RSIs are displayed on 15 mins or hourly charts, often used for Intraday trading,
Daily, Weekly and Monthly RSIs are displayed for Daily charts / Swing trading and
Weekly and Monthly RSIs for Weekly time frame / Positional trades.
Pivot Points (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)Pivot point: P = (High + Low)/2
First support: S1 = Low
Second support, S2 = Low - 2 * (High - Low)
First resistance: R1 = High
Second resistance, R2 = High + 2 * (High - Low)
White Line: Pivot Point
Gleen Line(Thin Line): Support 1
Green Line(Thick Line): Support 2
Red Line(Thin Line): Resistance 1
Red Line (Thick Line): Resistance 2
You can adjust it to daily, weekly or monthly indicators, daily for intraday trading (1minute, 1hour etc.), weekly and monthly for day/swing trading, monthly for weekly trades. I plot the graph with steplines since I think they can show the differences of pivots from time to time more clearly, you are free to change to other plot styles like circles or regular lines if you want to. Please like this script, and let me know any questions, thanks.
Trend-Range IdentifierTrend trading algorithms fail in ranging market and Swing trading algorithm fail in trending market. Purpose of this indicator is to identify if the instrument is trending or ranging so that you can apply appropriate trading algorithm for the market.
Process:
ATR is calculated based on the input parameter atrLength
Range/Channel containing upLine and downLine is calculated by adding/subtracting atrMultiplier * atr to close price.
This range/channel will remain same until the price breaks either upLine or downLine.
Once price crosses one among upLine and downLine, then new upLine/downLine is calculated based on latest close price.
If price breaks upLine, the trend is considered to be up until the next line break or no lines are broken for rangeLength bars. During this state, candles are colored in lime and upLine/downLine are colored in green.
If price breaks downLine, the trend is considered to be down until the next line break or no lines are broken for rangeLength bars. During this state, candles are colored in orange and upLine/downLine are colored in red.
If close price does not break either upLine or downLine for rangeLength bars, then the instrument is considered to be in range. During this state, candles are colored in silver and upLine/downLine are colored in purple.
In ranging duration, we display one among Keltner Channel, Bollinger Band or Donchian Band as per input parameter : rangeChannel . Other parameters used for calculation are rangeLength and stdDev
I have not fully optimized parameters. Suggestions and feedback welcome.
SMA Simple, EMA Exponential Moving Averages with high lowThis is a rewrite of my previous moving average script.
In this version, I have added the 3 day high and low as these are often used as short term trend following entry points
Traders often try to buy the 3 day average of lows in an uptrend and sell the 3 day average of highs in a downtrend
In the same fashion, I have added the 3 week high and low averages for longer term trend following for swing trading
I have added the 18 day, week, month simple moving averages ( SMA ) as I follow these from Ira Epsteins free you tube trading videos).
His 50 years of experience has taught him these are best
I have also added some longer term SMA , 100 day, 200 day, 100w, and 200w
Exponential EMA averages for longer term charts are included 100d, 200d, 100w, 100m, 200m
You can configure the script in the options to remove the ones you don't want to follow
I have removed the micro averages from my previous script since they are for short term scalping day trading hyper-trading which I don't do
Exponential averages are shown as crosses
some of the longer term averages are circles just to set them apart
Attrition Scalper v1.0A weird indicator to catch tops/bottoms and scalp with the signals. You should buy/sell with the signals but you should also analyze the chart manually before jumping straight into the trade. One of the most important thing is the middle VIDYA line. It is a very strong support/resistance and if you've taken a long/short from top/bottom, you might want to target there to exit as the indicator will not give you a sell signal there probably.
You should also after trying the indicator for a bit. Make a proper SL/TP strategy for it.
By default the indicator will only load with charts up to 30 minute frame. If you want to load on higher timeframe charts you have to increase the Timeframe to Lookback and the Timeframe options in it's settings.
I really recommend lower timeframes though, the default settings with 5 minute chart is most likely the best.
Each of the lines you see are pretty strong support/resistance and pivot points . So if you've taken an entry for a quick scalp you should most likely start partially closing the position on each line.
I wouldn't really recommend a tight stop as we're most likely entering at or near the bottom and the price really can't stay that overextended unless it's a major/flash dump, at that point no indicator is safe anyways. So finding the sweet spot is up to you.
If more lines are on top of each other, be careful of that spot too as it's a great confluence of support/resistance . For example if the top VIDYA line is near the upper purple 4.236 line. That is a major resistance and if price is above it, it will almost certainly test it back or fall back inside the channel.
Another strategy is to not use the buy/sell signals but use the channel/lines yourself on higher timeframe for swing trading or just putting orders at the other extreme ends/lines in the channel to catch a nice entry in flash/major dumps/pumps.
Price will most likely retrace to the middle VIDYA line after touching or overextending from the top VIDYA and upper purple 4.236 line. Same also applies for the opposite side too. Any close above/below the VIDYA might mean continuation but that's better seen and confirmed on much higher timeframes, not 5 minutes probably.
Special thanks to: www.tradingview.com i got inspired from some of his indicators and even used some snippets of code which he allowed me to do.
In the near future i'm thinking of implementing new logic with Weis Waves and few other indicators to increase the signal count as i think it's currently very low. But overtrading might be bad anyways.
ToNoIt Academy Swing Tradinghis indicator is intended to be used with an accredited ToNoIt Academy Educator only.
It is a simple inclusion of the basic 3 types of indicators used in the ToNoIt academy: Multiple Moving averages, Bollinger Bands and the MacD indicator.
This will allow a basic Trading view account user to add the RSI indicator that is available in the build ins list on Trading view.
Please note: this indicator makes use of standard indicator calculations and scripts and have no additional edge on the current built in ones, that is freely available within the Trading view platform.

Volume, Simple Relative Volume HighlightThis script plots volume bars and highlight bars that have an unusual activity, compare to the average (Standard: Simple Moving Average, 50 periods).
The script is useful for checking daily volume levels on equities. Where there is high volume, there is likely volatility, wich is good for day trading and swing trading entries.

Volume Profile [Makit0]VOLUME PROFILE INDICATOR v0.5 beta
Volume Profile is suitable for day and swing trading on stock and futures markets, is a volume based indicator that gives you 6 key values for each session: POC, VAH, VAL, profile HIGH, LOW and MID levels. This project was born on the idea of plotting the RTH sessions Value Areas for /ES in an automated way, but you can select between 3 different sessions: RTH, GLOBEX and FULL sessions.
Some basic concepts:
- Volume Profile calculates the total volume for the session at each price level and give us market generated information about what price and range of prices are the most traded (where the value is)
- Value Area (VA): range of prices where 70% of the session volume is traded
- Value Area High (VAH): highest price within VA
- Value Area Low (VAL): lowest price within VA
- Point of Control (POC): the most traded price of the session (with the most volume)
- Session HIGH, LOW and MID levels are also important
There are a huge amount of things to know of Market Profile and Auction Theory like types of days, types of openings, relationships between value areas and openings... for those interested Jim Dalton's work is the way to come
I'm in my 2nd trading year and my goal for this year is learning to daytrade the futures markets thru the lens of Market Profile
For info on Volume Profile: TV Volume Profile wiki page at www.tradingview.com
For info on Market Profile and Market Auction Theory: Jim Dalton's book Mind over markets (this is a MUST)
BE AWARE: this indicator is based on the current chart's time interval and it only plots on 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 and 30 minutes charts.
This is the correlation table TV uses in the Volume Profile Session Volume indicator (from the wiki above)
Chart Indicator
1 - 5 1
6 - 15 5
16 - 30 10
31 - 60 15
61 - 120 30
121 - 1D 60
This indicator doesn't follow that correlation, it doesn't get the volume data from a lower timeframe, it gets the data from the current chart resolution.
FEATURES
- 6 key values for each session: POC (solid yellow), VAH (solid red), VAL (solid green), profile HIGH (dashed silver), LOW (dashed silver) and MID (dotted silver) levels
- 3 sessions to choose for: RTH, GLOBEX and FULL
- select the numbers of sessions to plot by adding 12 hours periods back in time
- show/hide POC
- show/hide VAH & VAL
- show/hide session HIGH, LOW & MID levels
- highlight the periods of time out of the session (silver)
- extend the plotted lines all the way to the right, be careful this can turn the chart unreadable if there are a lot of sessions and lines plotted
SETTINGS
- Session: select between RTH (8:30 to 15:15 CT), GLOBEX (17:00 to 8:30 CT) and FULL (17:00 to 15:15 CT) sessions. RTH by default
- Last 12 hour periods to show: select the deph of the study by adding periods, for example, 60 periods are 30 natural days and around 22 trading days. 1 period by default
- Show POC (Point of Control): show/hide POC line. true by default
- Show VA (Value Area High & Low): show/hide VAH & VAL lines. true by default
- Show Range (Session High, Low & Mid): show/hide session HIGH, LOW & MID lines. true by default
- Highlight out of session: show/hide a silver shadow over the non session periods. true by default
- Extension: Extend all the plotted lines to the right. false by default
HOW TO SETUP
BE AWARE THIS INDICATOR PLOTS ONLY IN THE FOLLOWING CHART RESOLUTIONS: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15 AND 30 MINUTES CHARTS. YOU MUST SELECT ONE OF THIS RESOLUTIONS TO THE INDICATOR BE ABLE TO PLOT
- By default this indicator plots all the levels for the last RTH session within the last 12 hours, if there is no plot try to adjust the 12 hours periods until the seesion and the periods match
- For Globex/Full sessions just select what you want from the dropdown menu and adjust the periods to plot the values
- Show or hide the levels you want with the 3 groups: POC line, VA lines and Session Range lines
- The highlight and extension options are for a better visibility of the levels as POC or VAH/VAL

GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY TRADING
Relative Vigor IndexHere we are looking at a trend strength indicator based on the Relative Vigor Index(RVI). The RVI measures trend strength by comparing the open-close and high-low ranges for the current and three most recent periods. As a zero-centered oscillator, the RVI oscillates above and below zero to signal the strength of the trend.
As there are different ways to interpret the RVI, we have included 3 different modes for traders to choose from in the input option menu:
1. Zero-Crossing:
The RVI Histogram will turn green when it crosses above zero and red when it crosses below. Therefore, a green RVI means the trend is bullish and red means bearish. This mode is better for longer-term swing trading in comparison to the other 2 modes.
2. Increasing / Decreasing:
The RVI histogram will turn green when it is increasing(rvi >= rvi ) and red when it is decreasing. A green RVI is viewed as a bullish signal and red means bearish. This mode is a good middle-ground between the Zero-Crossing and Signal Comparison modes.
3. Signal Comparison:
Here, the RVI is compared to its signal line. If the RVI is greater than its signal line, the histogram is green, indicating a bullish trend, while red means bearish. This mode is preferred for scalping.
Hope everyone finds this one useful!

[TH] MA CloudThis script uses concept of ichmok cloud to SMA . ( But the details are different )
It is useful for 1-3 month swing trading (if open market is 5days in a week).
* Cloud
Simple Moving Average ( SMA ) 20 days & 60 days were used to make cloud region( green, red cloud )
- 20 days, 60days SMA were translated to 20days future from now ( =SMA Leading span 1,2 )
- if 20days sma > 60days sma => green
- if 20days sma < 60days sma => red
- if close price < cloud => The bigger red cloud means stronger resistance
- if close price > cloud = > The bigger green cloud means stronger support
* Leading Span (Most important)
Instead of using lagging span, I used leading span.
We can predict 20 days sma's direction with this leading span & current price(close price)
- if close price makes Dead Cross over leading span & close price < 20days sma
=> 20days sma heading down soon
- if close price makes Golden Cross over leading span & close > 20days sma
=> 20days sma heading up soon
* buy
Buy IF 20days sma heading up soon & close price >= green cloud ( even better if 20days sma >= 60days sma )
OR IF 20days sma heading up soon & close price < red cloud & cloud is small ( low success rate )
